Some good news from one of our Wayne Arts members!
1-Robert Henry won First Prize in the 2017 Palmyra Canaltown Days Art Show in the photography category.
2- The jurists at the Rochester Museum and Science Center Holiday Bazaar have invited Bob to exhibit in the Eisenhart Auditorium the Fri., Sat. & Sun. before Thanksgiving 2017.
3- Bob has donated three photographic canvases to the Chinese Auction fund raiser at the Harvest Dinner Dance for the benefit of The Sanctuary at Crowfield Farm, Newark, NY. 

Wayne Arts Members Angela Possemato and Marshall Handfield will be exhibiting their work at Gallery 96 in Bushnell's Basin. Both photographers had work accepted to thejuried show "Street Photography" which runs from Oct. 18- Nov. 18, 2017.

June 20, 2017 - WCCA Members and Photographers d. dargan teska and Michael Shoemaker are having a show of Iceland and travel photos at the NRW Art Gallery, 11631 Salter-Colvin Rd, Wolcott. The opening reception is June 30th from 5-7pm.

Elaine won First Place for the painting of the “Famous Sythe Tree” in the Waterloo Memorial Day Plein Air Painting Competition and First Place for the painting “Fertile Farm Land” in the Western Wayne Art Group’s 44th Annual Spring Show

CONGRATULATIONS to Wayne Arts master photographer Dave Folts on his multiple awards at the Wayne County Fair: 2nd for black and white landscape, 3rd for black and white still life; and 2nd for architecture. He does it all on black and white film with a medium format camera. Masterful composition, a keen eye for light and command of his gear makes for winning images! BRAVO Dave!

June 11, 2017 - Wayne County Council for the Arts received a special commendation from the offices of Pam Helming, NYS Senator and Robert Oakes, NYS Assemblyman from our area recognizing our 40th year of supporting the arts. Outgoing President Mary Christopher and Incoming President Bonnie Evangelist are seen here showing off the beautiful award. 

CONGRATULATIONS! to Wayne Arts member Marshall Handfield who is one of three photographers selected from SQUARE 2017 Juried Photography Exhibition and will featured in the "Jurors Choice 2018" Exhibition at Gallery 96 in Pittsford. Stay tuned for more information.

July 31-August 25, 2017 - Wayne Arts and Board of Directors Member Angela Possemato is part of a four woman photography exhibit at the O'Keefe Gallery in the Skalny Welcome Center at St. John Fisher College. The reception is Friday Aug. 11, 4-7pm. The reception and gallery are free and open to the public.
